Data protection

Avadis values your privacy and attaches great importance to data protection. For this reason, Avadis processes personal data only in accordance with the applicable data protection law, in particular the Swiss Federal Law on Data Protection of 19 June 1992 and, where relevant, the EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) which came into force on 25 May 2018. 

Scope and purpose of data collection

The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. However, we do process personal data that you voluntarily provide us with, for example by filling out the contact form or sending us an e-mail. We use the data received from you solely for administrative and communication purposes. Under no circumstances will the collected data be disclosed, sold or otherwise passed on to third parties. Nevertheless, certain of our service providers may have access to certain personal data, especially for the maintenance and servicing of our IT systems. We keep the personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. If you apply for a job at Avadis, you must provide us with personal information and, if necessary, particularly sensitive personal data. By applying to us, you give your express consent to the use of this information. We use this information to review your application and to carry out the application process. The data will be kept for as long as necessary for the recruitment process. In the event of a rejection, the data will be deleted promptly.

Data security 

The website is operated with a valid SSL certificate. Thanks to SSL certificates, the confidentiality of online traffic is maintained despite the public nature of the Internet and connections to the website are encrypted via HTTPS. Avadis has also taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from loss and unauthorised access. The measures taken are regularly checked for their effectiveness and adjusted if necessary.

Server log files 

Avadis automatically collects and stores information in its server log files that your browser sends to us. These are: Browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and time of the server request. This data is not merged with other data sources.


This website uses cookies. The creation of cookies offers the possibility of intermediate storage of data and serves to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Web Beacons

Single pixel gifs, so-called web beacons, are automatically placed in every newsletter. These are invisible graphic files that are associated with the user ID of the respective e-mail recipient. For each newsletter sent, the web beacons provide information about which recipients have opened the newsletter, when the newsletter was opened and whether certain links within the newsletter were clicked on. This data is used for statistical, anonymous evaluations and to optimise the content and structure of the newsletter.

In order to prevent the use of web beacons in our newsletters, you must set up your mail program so that no HTML is displayed in messages.

Google Analytics

In order to recognise trends and to improve our online offer, this website uses the product "Google Analytics", a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, and Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. In order to increase the awareness of Avadis, plug-ins of the social network LinkedIn from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, are installed on this website. You can recognise the LinkedIn plug-in ("LinkedIn Recommended" button) by the LinkedIn logo. If you call up a page on our website that contains such a plug-in, a direct connection is established between your browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn thereby receives information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn button while logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the contents of our pages on your LinkedIn profile.
